why is this a beautiful garment?

firstly, it is a simple design with understated embroidery.

secondly, the crewneck knit shows how elaborate the craft of knitting can be. using a pair of wooden needles, our knitter has turned a string of yarn into a lovely garment. only then does the embroidery begin, which slowly creates the floral pattern during more than forty hours of needlework.

thirdly, the alpaca yarn gives a great weight and softness to the garment. each piece of knitwear is made from the yarn of a single alpaca. each knit has the natural colour of that alpaca, from that specific year.
